#BadassBudgeting Tip of the Day: Buy Second Hand
Thrifting, consignment, hand-me-downs... these are all great ways to save money and a LOT of money at that. Did you know that a brand new RW and Co. (a Canadian clothing brand) blazer is upwards of $150.00 Canadian in the stores and I buy my RW and Co. blazers for upwards of $11.00 at the thrift store? It pays to take your time and shop thrift and consignment, especially upscale thrift and consignment stores to see what brand name staples we can find.
Some of my best memories with my best friend include thrift shopping. We find things for each other and not only find great deals on staple items but find some extremely nice, usually extremely expensive pieces for a fraction of the cost of brand new in the store! All you need to do is do a thorough dry clean or laundry wash of the clothes and you're good to go!
Let me know in the comments below what you've been able to find through thrift and consignment shopping. I'd love to know! Signed, Filipina Budget Girl.
